Applications are now open for the SevenUp Harvard Business School Scholarship for 2014/2015 academic session. Launched in January 2011, the scholarship program is SevenUp Botling Company's way of contributing towards building a greener future for Nigeria. Each year, a deserving Nigerian youth, resident within the country, will be selected and given the privilege of the best quality education at the Harvard Business School.

The scholarship covers tuition, housing, a ticket to the United States to begin the MBA program and a ticket back from the United States at the end of the MBA program.

Eligibility

The MBA program seeks candidates from a very diverse range of backgrounds and experiences.

You can apply if;

  • you are a Nigerian Youth

  • you are resident within Nigeria

  • you have gained admission into the Harvard Business School MBA Program.

Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders program. APPLY NOW!

The Washington Fellowship is the flagship program of President Obama’s Young
African Leaders Initiative. President Obama launched YALI in 2010 to support
young African leaders as they spur growth and prosperity, strengthen
democratic governance, and enhance peace and security across Africa. The
Washington Fellowship, which begins in 2014, will bring 500 young leaders to
the United States each year for academic coursework and leadership training
and will create unique opportunities in Africa for Fellows to put new skills to
practical use in leading organizations, communities, and countries.
The online application for the Washington Fellowship is currently available.
Completed applications, including all supporting documents, are due by 12:00
midnight Eastern Standard Time, January 27, 2014. All applications must be
submitted via the online application system. The application
instructions provide detailed information regarding the financial provisions of the
fellowship, eligibility and selection criteria for the program, and details on

Win Big in the Thank God It's Centenary Quiz Show

Theme: I Know My Country

Vision: To broaden the minds of Nigerians through knowledge of our history as a
spring board for our future growth and understanding of our present
Mission: To educate Nigerians about the history of the country as a means of
promoting our unity.
Background: In light of the celebration of the 100 years amalgamation of Nigeria
(1914-2014), TGIC Quiz Show is the 2nd Season of the TGIC Competition that had
been going online. It intends to provide edutainment to Nigerians between the
ages of 18-39. The Quiz show is an integral part of the Social media platform of
the Nigeria Centenary Celebration.
The TGIC Competition Season 2 is in two stages/categories
(1) Entry stage is: the Essay category
(2) Competition stage is: the Quiz category.
The Format: The show will be held in the six geo-political zones of Nigeria and
hosted in six cities: Yenagoa (south-south); Lagos (south-west); Enugu (south-
east); Kaduna (north-west); Makurdi (north central); Bauchi (north-east). The
grand finale is to hold in the federal capital, Abuja.

2nd Prize - Five Hundred Thousand (N500,000) Naira
3rd place – Two Hundred Fifty Thousand (N250,000) Naira
The three winners in each geo-political zone will receive N250,000, N150,000
and N100,000 respectively.
Many other consolation prizes, including N10, 000 for each of the 20 regional
participants
